Campbeltown cadets scramble to Rosyth for aircraft carrier naming

CAMPBELTOWN sea cadets voyaged to Rosyth and joined the royal guests at the HMS Prince of Wales naming ceremony.

They joined about 90 cadets and volunteers from Inverness, Grangemouth, Musselburgh, Dunbar, Queensferry, Trinity (Edinburgh), Ashington, Methil, Rosyth, Leith, Bangor, Fife and Tayside, Dundee, Inverness and their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay at the event last Friday.

A Sea Cadets band played to 500 VIPs as they arrived in the morning to collect their passes.
