Scottish schoolboy champion takes gold

A Glenbarr schoolboy athlete ran the 1500m race of his life to win a gold medal.

Gregor Campbell won the under-15 boys’ 1500 metres by more than four seconds at the Scottish schools track and field championships on June 8 at Grangemouth.

Gregor represented his club, Shettleston Harriers, Gregor Campbell takes gold in the U15 1500m. and Campbeltown Grammar School.
