Telly addicts bloomed into floral artists

Green fingered Clachan florists inspired by their favourite TV shows created a riot of colour at Kilcalmonell Church flower festival.

The three-day show blossomed in the village from last Friday to Sunday and included a special church service led by James McLellan. The £2 admission fee and special teas at £3.50 helped to boost funds for the village hall restoration.

There were no prizes for the stunning creations.
