MidFest, a new string for Wee Toon’s bow

A CAMPBELTOWN man who is possibly the youngest pub landlord in Scotland hopes to rock the music scene with a new festival.

MidFest is the brainchild of Lewis Nelson, 22, who manages Whisky Macs bar, Stephen and Mark Johnson from the band The Twisted Melons, and IT technician David Wood, who designed all the promotion- al posters and videos. Lewis said: ‘We were discussing the fact that it’s quite a long time between the Kintyre Songwriters’ Festival in April and MOK Fest in August, so why not create another festival in the middle?’
