Lima plans public bike system

PERU

The Peruvian capital Lima is set to install a public bike system with 10,500 bikes in the districts of Miraflores, San Isidro and San Borja. The project is supported by the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), non-profit sustainable cities organisation La Ciudad Humana and the mayors of the three districts, which account for 250,000 of Lima’s 8.5 million people.
