BRIT AWARDS SHAKE-UP
A major shake-up of the BRITs will mark the end of gendered awards in 2022. The UK music industry’s flagship event, which takes place on 8 February at London’s O2 Arena, has moved away from the female and male categories by launching new awards for Artist Of The Year and International Artist Of The Year. The idea is to celebrate acts solely for their music, rather than how they choose to identify.
