Dexter’s Michael C Hall has become a fully-fledged synth-pop star – and even Debbie Harry approves. The actor’s band Princess Goes To The Butterfly Museum includes Blondie keyboardist Matt Katz- Bohen and ex-Wallflowers/Morningwood drummer Peter Yanowitz, whom he first met when they were appearing in Hedwig And The Angry Inch on Broadway in 2014. As a result, Ms Harry has been known to join the band on stage. “She’s been to all but one, maybe two of our gigs,” reveals Hall. “Her singing with us hasn’t come up, but I would welcome the opportunity.” Yanowitz adds: “Debbie’s actually more of a roadie. She helps us with our stuff back home – she has this energy that gets us through.”
Katz-Bohen, who still plays with Blondie, told Paste: “She takes a perverse thrill, I think, in being our roadie and trying to lug our instruments around and put them in her car.”
