Following his triumph as this year’s Hyundai Mercury Prize winner, Michael Kiwanuka is eyeing up a James Bond theme song. The Londoner, who has been enjoying rave reviews for his third LP Kiwanuka, said: “I would love to do a Bond theme, I haven’t had the privilege yet, maybe in a few albums time.”
Michael is a big fan of Billie Eilish’s recent Bond offering, No Time To Die: “Billie is so subtle in what she does. The last couple of Bond tunes have been amazing but it’s nice to have something that’s a little different, less brash, more understated. I’m all into that.”
