Anyone who recalls David Byrne and Tim DeLaughter’s classic turns on previous X-Press 2 singles may worry that their first LP since 2006 drops guest vocals completely. Don’t fret: Thee is Rocky and Diesel gloriously going back to basics with a succession of house bangers. From Zeven’s sinewy bounce to the route-one whistles ‘n’ klaxons heartstopper You Know (Everybody), the pace is as unrelenting as the hooks. Whatever caused them to pause for so long, they’re undeniably back. One listen to Phasing You Out and shape throwing is guaranteed.
