Wake up! It’s a beautiful LP, finally back on vinyl! 1993’s NME Best Album, the Boos’ third slotted well between predecessor Everything’s Alright Forever’s shoegaze and the Britpopfriendly indie-pop that would deliver chart success, represented by the likes of I Hang Suspended and Barney (...And Me). Along the way, there’s the jangly Wish I Was Skinny and Thinking Of Ways’ spangled Arcadia. Established fans will welcome the reissue’s addition of Saint Etienne mixes of the dubby Lazarus and gritty Rodney King, plus energetic B-side Peachy Keen.
