Sam Hargreaves grew up helping out on his father’s shoot

here’s no doubt that shooting can often be regarded as a sport for the wealthy, and whilst this is true in some regards, I believe that people can partake in the sport on a budget.Scrolling through social media just the other day, I read a post by clay pigeon coach Ben Husthwaite, whose sponsorship squad had kindly teamed up to buy 14-year-old colt Ben, his first gun, a brand new Webley and Scott that he had been saving up for all year.
This not only made me commend Ben and his team for their great work in helping out a fellow young shot, but also made me wonder if we could be doing more to introduce more people into the sport, and keeping them in the sport, without breaking the bank.
