OK, sometimes it takes me a while to come around to a good idea.

It”s been several years since Ruger introduced its first LCR, the Light Compact Revolver, and my reaction at the time was perhaps lukewarm. But as the number of revolvers in the lineup has continued to increase, I figured it was time to give these little wheelguns a second look. The one I chose was the LCRx (“x” for external hammer) with 1.8-inch barrel in.357 Magnum. But more about that later.
