This is a playful Indian take on fish and chips and mushy peas – no malt vinegar required! Make up a batch of these crunchy delights for friends for a Diwali celebration (27 October this year) or any time you want a stylish nibble with drinks. If you can’t track down the spices chaat masala and ajwain, omit them – the recipe will still taste delicious without them.
