It’s the all-new Skoda Elroq that is revealed on the cover of the November 2024 issue of Diesel&EcoCar, as we deliver the first news on the new medium-sized electric SUV. We also go behind the scenes at the unveiling and explore the lengths that the Czech Republic brand went to when showing the Elroq to the world for the first time.

And it’s a massive month for news with the Dacia Bigster revealed alongside the facelifted Citroën C4 and C4 X at the Paris motor show. We report from the French show, with the first news of the Renault 4 E-Tech, the Peugeot E-408, Alpine A390 Beta Concept, Audi Q6 Sportback, Volkswagen Tayron, the Renault Emblème hydrogen fuel-cell concept car, and the Leapmotor B10. If that wasn’t enough, there’s also the first photographs and information on the stunning Citroën C5 Aircross Concept, the Volkswagen Transporter, Kia PV5, and BYD Sealion 7.

Our testers have driven the Alfa Romeo Junior, MG ZS Hybrid+, facelifted Kia EV6 and the new Polestar on UK roads, as well as testing the Vauxhall Grandland Electric on European tarmac. In addition, we’ve been behind the wheel of the facelifted Audi Q8 TDI and the Citroën C4 mild hybrid. New arrivals on the long-term test fleet this month include a Fiat 600e, Genesis GV60 and Renault Scenic E-Tech, and this month’s used car buyer’s guide is all about the SEAT Tarraco TDI, while in Generation Game, we look at three different versions of the Volkswagen Touareg TDI.
