The Kiss Of The Spider Woman, the acclaimed Argentine novel that became a hit movie in 1985 is now an award-winning musical, about to debut in Australia.
Kiss Of The Spider Woman was written in 1976 by Argentine author Manuel Puig. Considered his best work, it was also controversial at the time and banned in many countries because of its LGBT content. Puig adapted the story for the stage before Terrence McNally created the musical in 1993.
