Your views on everything going on in the hectic world of Doctor Who...

Last issue, we previewed the new audio adventures of the Tenth Doctor and Donna – starring David Tennant and Catherine Tate – and got quite an excited response...

Partners reunited

I have just finished reading your excellent feature on the new adventures of the Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble, courtesy of the lovely, talented people at Big Finish.

The interview with David Tennant and Catherine Tate was so easy to read. The chemistry between the two is so perfect that it didn’t feel like an interview at all – more like a conversation between two best friends that I just happened to stumble across. Their connection really is magic.

Usually I only dip into Big Finish audios when a release takes my fancy, and this has definitely got my attention. I eagerly look forward to being transported me back to my childhood with the lonely Time Lord (who is definitely not from Mars) and the best temp in Chiswick.

Not long now until we get to hear David Tennant and Catherine Tate in The Tenth Doctor Adventures! When I first listened to the two-minute trailer for the three new audio stories, I was painting pictures in my mind of how they’d appear on screen (either as live action or animation); they reminded me of the days where I watched their TV episodes on BBC One, back in 2008.

Kudos also to Nicholas Briggs and the Big Finish crew for hosting the fantastic drama session at the Doctor Who Festival in 2015.
