Dolls House and Miniature Scene  |  DHMS Feb 10 (Iss 188)
The big shows programme has finished for Dolls House and Miniature
Scene until March 2010 when we will be exhibiting at Miniatura and
Arnhem. This years shows have been fantastic, having just completed the
last two, exhibiting at Kensington and York in November. I would like to
thank all those who visited our stands on all occasions, not just to purchase our great magazines and chat but for all the complementary comments to the Dolls House and Miniature Scene team for producing such a quality publication.
All the changes that we have made over time have certainly made a difference, and its looking great, although I say it myself! But one big factor that we must not forget is we could not do it without the support from our talented contributors and generous suppliers worldwide, without these it would not be possible, so a big thank you to all.
We have a number of show reports that I’m sure you will find interesting; Miniatura plus a workshop experience from 14-year-oldSussanah Makin, a future miniaturist I hope! Also coverage of The 1/12 Club display which was fantastic. Arnhem Dolls House & Miniatures Show and a taste of the goodies on display, and moving further a field to California in fact, we take a look at some of the stunning work of artisans at the autumn Good Sam Showcase of Miniatures
