NETEYAM (JAMIE FLATTERS)
“It’s nice to know that I wasn’t just delusional and it wasn’t all a three-year fever dream,” says Jamie Flatters about finally watching the first The Way Of Water trailer. The 21-year-old plays Neteyam, the Sully kid who is “trying to be the hero of the story and obviously failing”. A lo-fi filmmaker himself, Flatters found himself in the high-tech arena of performance capture: “The tech guys would be on high stools with their computers like a weird, 21st-century Colosseum.”
Starting shooting aged 17, Flatters describes his Pandora tour as a “life-shaping experience.
