AS THE WRITER of a fistful of Paranormal Activity movies (and the director of Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones), Christopher Landon has an inbuilt wealth of ghoulish knowledge. He’s even consulted paranormal psychologists. But for We Have A Ghost, an Amblin-style mystery about troubled phantom Ernest (David Harbour) stuck in his former family home, Landon decided to make something more from the heart. “I really wanted to flex certain muscles that I felt like I had, but hadn’t been able to use yet,” he tells Empire. “One of those being this big, sweeping emotional story that really pays off at the end.”
