Across The Spider-Verse begins in Gwen’s world — Ear th-65. How was the place first pitched to you?
The first thing Kemp [Powers] told me when describing where we star t with Gwen was that a lot of the animation around her would feel like a mood ring, reflecting her emotions. That sounded so cool, visually. Af ter the first film, you’d think it couldn’t get any more spectacular, but this one really blew me away.
