Which movie have you seen the most?
I’ve seen Jaws probably 300 times. My son’s 12, and it’s his favourite film, too. Plus, I just watched it with my four-year-old daughter — her first time — and she loved it. She wasn’t even scared. Whereas I saw it when it came out and I couldn’t even swim in a pool for a while afterwards.
When have you been most starstruck?
I met De Niro making [2015 thriller] Heist. That was pretty cool. He couldn’t have been a sweeter guy. I was dying to ask him about Taxi Driver and all the other classics he’s done, but I managed to hold back. We both own log cabins, so we chatted about that. Plus, at a party many moons ago I met Mick Jagger and Jack Nicholson. At the same time! I wish I could tell you more about that party because it was crazy. But I can’t. All I’ll say is: everybody had a really good time [laughs].
