SPECIAL FEATURE: In That Extra Mile Gavin Stoker talks to successful events photographers: casting his critical eye over some of the props, accessories, and services that can add value to an events operation and establish your business in this thriving area of the industry.
The f2 Profile; David Land talks to portrait, fashion and documentary photographer Linda Brownlee about her editorial and fashion work, her commitment to maintaining a personal practice, and the importance of achieving a balance between her commercial and personal work.
Turning Pro: Neil Bowler. An IT worker until 2009, who’d previously been a roofer and personal trainer, Bowler has built a thriving wedding and social practice from the ground up in four years. He talks to Simon James about how it happened, the strategic approach he takes to his business, and how he sees it moving forward.

Emerging documentary photographer Jordi Ruiz Cirera has recently been named AOP Student of the Year 2012. In Starting Out he tells f2 about his swift transformation from working as a Barcelona based graphic designer to his new career as a London-based, internationally travelling, freelance photojournalist.

The Business Section
Editorial and corporate photographer Travis Hodges moved to London from Devon in 2005. We talk to him about his practice today and the manner in which he has built it up since his arrival in London.
In 'Building a Future' architectural freelance Simon Jauncey tells f2 about his successful commercial career, among other titles providing many Scottish architectural features for Country Life Magazine, and his increasingly successful personal fine art practice.

Technical section
Adam Woolfitt reviews the, 24.2MP DX format, Nikon D3200
Also in the Technical Section David Kilpatrick ponders the age old chestnut “Is size important?” - in this instance considering the evolving arena of digital sensors. Which is the right size for you?
