Nuneaton and North Warwickshire Family History Society’s growing First World War Memorials project is now freely available online, including a fully searchable Those Who Fell database.
The huge project, led by member Celia Parton, is nearing completion but its comprehensive findings so far can be viewed on the NNWFHS website, which is being regularly updated. Along with Celia and a team of dedicated volunteers, webmaster Ian Shuter has also devoted hundreds of hours to make this a fitting memorial to the fallen men and women of north Warwickshire at www.nnwfhs.org.uk/catch-all/about-our-war-memorials-project
Anyone with pictures or information relating to the project can contribute them via the website – see www.nnwfhs.org.uk/catch-all/first-worldwar-centenary-2/upload-your-ww1-memories-and-photo-s – or email CeliaEParton@aol.com
