Hola amigos, como estas? This month I have mostly been testing, testing and testing! The season is almost upon us and indeed, by the time you read this, we will have had our first round in Australia under our belts.
Our first test of 2017 was two days at Jerez. It’s funny, it never takes me long to get back in the groove despite so much time off the bike. I’d not ridden anything for a couple of months and, okay, for the first couple of laps things seem to come a little slower but aside from that, I’m back into it pronto. Especially at a place like Jerez. I’d love to know how many laps I’ve done after testing there nearly every winter for 15 years. Then there’s all the racing I’ve done there too, so it must be a crazy amount of laps in total. I know where I’m going, basically, so it was a cinch to get back in the groove.
