A Touch of SPRING

Bring spring hues to your kitchen without the commitment.

PREDOMINANTLY WHITE KITCHENS ARE ON TREND, but there’s a way to add spring colors to your kitchen without changing the neutral foundation. In the book Salvage Secrets Design & Decor by Joanne Palmisano, she shares a Tybee Island cottage designed by Jane Coslick Designs that uses vintage furniture to bring color to the space. “Retro metal cabinets, an old cast-iron sink with two drain boards and a uniquely layered painted vintage oak pedestal table are just a few of the highlights,” writes Palmisano. “The mix and match of secondhand chairs is all pulled together by the color scheme.”
