WHETHER IT’S ORDERING the same dish from your favourite restaurant or mindlessly munching on your morning cereal, new research conducted by Highland Spring reveals that Britons are stuck in a rut when it comes to their daily diets. 23% admitted to having the same lunch every day, while almost a third ate the same breakfast. And it’s not just our diets that get repetitive; the study also revealed that 17% of Brits log on to social media at the same time every day, while 12% take their children to the same activities.
While establishing some routines can help to reduce stress, it’s also important to accommodate variety in our diets, not least in order to maintain a healthy gut. Setting and achieving new lifestyle goals is also good for our mental health and boosting our confidence and self-esteem.
