And the winners are…

It’s been another bumper year for new products that aim to make healthy eating easier. Our 24 winners impressed us with their innovation and quality

Over the seven years since Healthy Food Guide launched, we’ve clocked a big leap in the quality and innovation of healthy food and drink launches. Free from, vegan and low sugar choices, in particular, are all pulsing. Gone are the days when cutting out gluten, dairy or animal products meant a severe compromise on taste, texture or nutrition, and the rise of natural sweeteners is making it easier for manufacturers to cut down on free sugars. We’re also seeing more product launches reflecting our recipe nutrition symbols. As well as low fat, low sats and low calorie, we’re now seeing many more products being sold with high-fibre, high-protein or high-calcium tags.
