”I WANT TO HEAR WOMEN TALK ABOUT THEIR LIVES, not just their bums and thighs”

Tired of discussing thigh gaps and #thinspo, actress and presenter Jameela Jamil wants to move our conversation forward

Jameela Jamil wants to know what you weigh. This may seem rude, but the presenter and The Good Place star isn’t interested in your dress size. In fact, she couldn’t care less what you look like. She wants to know your weight in achievements, not kilograms.

It was an Instagram account minutely detailing each of the Kardashians’ weights that set the former T4 host on this path of thinking. ‘It was an account that has hundreds of thousands of young female followers,’ she says. ‘It was such a crystal-clear summary of how women have been taught to be valued. I had a moment of outrage.’
