Good news. The new metallic shades for eyes is season-proof. On the Marc Jacobs’ catwalk, we saw how shimmery eye shadows in bronze, lilac and silver hues can complement our go-to summer look of glowing skin and nude lips. ‘Metallic textures are great in summer,’ says make-up artist Amy Brandon. ‘They effortlessly pick up natural light, highlighting your brow bone and emphasising your tan.’ The trend is also more youthful than a heavy smoky eye, says Brandon. ‘Opt for soft, creamy textures that are easy to blend.
