Make the look... Woven fabric rug
Upcycle unwanted fabric lengths, or even old duvet covers, to make a colourful woven rag rug, just like Erin’s, using a clever DIY loom
You will need
∗ Large piece of cardboard
∗ Ruler
∗ Pencil
∗ Scissors
∗ Fabrics, 1m lengths, four prints
1 Take the cardboard and, at one end, mark 5cm-long lines every 1.3cm.
2 Cut along each one with scissors. Repeat on the other end of the cardboard, creating a loom. Cut/tear three different coloured fabrics into 5cm wide strips. Tear a further piece into 2.5cm strips – these will be your weaving lengths. Organise the 5cm strips into groups of three.
