‘The Lost World of David Leask ‘

For several weeks earlier this year, the pinned tweet on Wings Over Scotland’s Twitter account was a reply to David Leask, a Herald journalist and notorious conspiracy theorist (who appears to sincerely believe that any writer who dares to take issue with his establishment worldview must by definition be either a Kremlin agent or an MI5 plant). In this particular case, Leask had been waxing lyrical about how “proud” he is of the regular corrections column in the Herald and the way it sets his publication apart from the ghastly alternative media.
