One day, Rebecca goes to see her supervisor.
“Boss,” she says, “we’re doing some moving at home tomorrow, and my husband needs me to help. Can I have the day off?”
Her boss thinks for a minute, then says, “I’m sorry but we’re really short-staffed at the moment. I really can’t give you the day off.”
