The man behind the iPod, the iPad and Apple computers.
Following Steve’s death (on 5th October 2011), Apple posted an obituary on its website which read: “Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiringmentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.”
Steven Paul “Steve” Jobs was born in San Francisco in February 1955 to graduate students Abdulfattah Jandali (a Syrian from the city of Homs) and Joanne Carole Schieble (an American). Almost immediately, Steve was placed for adoption after Schieble’s father opposed the couple’s marriage.
