Apple’s “spatial audio” and Yamaha’s “3D Sound” have much in common, but they’re not exactly the same. Both headphones can create a kind of 360– degree surround sound effect while watching films and video, and both have a head–tracking feature that can adjust the direction of sound if you happen to move.
There’s “spatial audio” on Apple Music too, but this works differently. You can actually use any headphones to listen to spatial audio on Apple Music, but only with a limited selection of songs that have been specially recorded and mixed.
