Travelling opens your eyes to the vastness of the world while giving you a chance to dig deep into who you really are. The thought that you are a part of this large, complicated and populous earth may cause you to feel humbled, excited – or even mystified. You begin to introspect and question the purpose of your being. You begin to appreciate the impact of your actions on your environment and the world. As you sojourn, you may find yourself in situations that will force you to get out of your comfort zone, and you will be amazed at the strength of the person who looks back at you when you stare at the mirror. Was that you who had a long conversation with a stranger on that six-hour train ride or flight, and enjoyed it? You who is an introvert and does not talk to strangers? You discover the depth and breadth of your patience, or its deficiency. You never know who you really are unless you expose yourself to different places, situations, challenges and even people.
