Issue Cover

MusicTech  |  Feb 18

In this issue, we’ve amassed the ultimate collection of professional advice on all things music; whether that's creating, recording, mixing, mastering or everything in between. Compiled from our interviews with such luminaries as John Leckie, Tony Visconti and Gary Numan, we’ve also got tips and alternative approaches from our (both pro and amateur) music-making audience. We hope this feature provides some inspiration for your creative studio endeavours.

Also this issue, we chat to Catherine J Marks, a producer with some seriously impressive credits to her name and a nominee for this year’s MPG Producer Of The Year. We also spend some time with The Flashbulb, whose beautiful studio in the natural tranquility of Georgia is a thing to behold.

We wrap up our A-Z series with Gear4Music, which is chock full of all the key terms and techniques that you need to know. We’ve also got our usual vast array of reviews and hands-on tutorial content, as well as an extensive guide to creating music on the move with an iPhone or iPad.

We hope you enjoy the issue…

Excellent magazine. Always look forward to reading the latest issue Reviewed giovedì 21 maggio 2020

Great Magazine please do more software content and some more freeware reviews. It's getting harder to pick the best of the Freeware VST and DAW lot. But could I ask that you do a Cakewalk by Bandlab review. One thing that gets me is that so much on what is in Cakewalk already is still only now coming to Studio One and other paid for DAW's. Yet you magazines avoid mentioning that. Please reach out to the Cakewalk Backers and write a really good review of a free product that quite honestly is fantastic. Reviewed martedì 24 marzo 2020

Great mag and easy to read mobile version

This is a great way to read the mag and the new easy-to-read mobile version makes it even easier to read the content on your phone when out and about. Reviewed lunedì 15 agosto 2016

Xperia play

Very good, but needs to be a mobile edition, bigger text and what not. Also it would benefit from hardware controlls. But all in all very good and affordable. Reviewed venerdì 23 novembre 2012
