This fabulous issue could well be billed as our nordic special with inspiration from colder climes. On the cover is a magnificent collection of antique Dala horses which is a colourful folk motif that is a little different from the ubiquitous Russian dolls and owls! We have a selection of Fair Isle bands that offer lots of variety and versatility for cards and other ideas. From Norway, we took its traditional Hardanger technique and transposed it onto the epitome of folk fabric; gingham. If you do not have any beads to hand, then you may well be dismantling any jewellery you own to have a go at the beaded roundels in the Masterclass. With some cheery last-minute Christmas cards too, we have December all wrapped up.
