The Indian army’s Rajputana Rifles regiment marches during the Army Day parade on January 15. India celebrated the 71st anniversary of the formation of its national army, with soldiers from various regiments and artillery taking part in the celebration. In 1949, the first Indian commander took over from the British, who ruled India for close to a century.
