LISMORE’S ‘granny bus’ will be kept on the road for another 12 months, thanks to a donation of £1,500 from Glensanda Quarry in Morvern.
The volunteers of Lismore Community Transport (LCT) use their Peugeot Teepee to drive islanders aged over 75, or those with a disability or in poverty, to the shop, café, doctor, ferry, and social events, or to appointments in Oban.
Left to right: Mairi Smith, Roma Black, Margery McDonald, Gilly Dixon-Spain, Glensanda Quarry’s David Lamb, LCT trustee Valerie Livingstone, treasurer Duncan Drysdale and secretary Freda Drysdale.
