One witness described the scene as something out of The Italian Job after the emergency service vehicle was involved in a collision with a Mini Countryman on the B8007 near Glenborrodale on Tuesday June 20.
Resident Geoffrey Campbell, who witnessed the collision, said: ‘The ambulance was heading to Kilchoan to attend to an emergency and met a car on the bridge.
