We just love this art installation that’s been watching over the River Thames.
The gigantic interactive, nine-metre ‘head’, designed by British designer Steuart Padwick (steuartpadwick.co.uk), was positioned on London’s South Bank with panoramic views of St Paul’s Cathedral and the iconic city skyline to celebrate World Mental Health Day a few months ago.
The installation, named Head Above Water, is designed to challenge attitudes and stimulate perception and understanding around mental health.
It’s also the name f or a new short film ‘Head above Water’ shot by Soho House Films, which has been screening in independent cinemas, again, in support of mental health awareness.
