The company’s founder, Frances Sargeant, says she was “utterly shocked” when she was informed that she had won the OM award. “And then so proud to have been chosen out of all the brilliant brands I was up against!”
As for why readers voted for Blossom Yoga Wear, she believes it was a reflection of the firms’s commitment to quality — but not quantity. “Well, based on our many five-star reviews, I know people love the cut of our leggings, and we have so many repeat customers who seem to love all our designs. I think people also appreciate the small runs on our prints and are therefore unlikely to bump into someone else wearing the same design which you may get with some of the bigger brands.”
The goal is to keep the same ethos going, always prioritising customers and the same commitment to high quality. That’s the advice for any new brands just starting out in what has become a competitive field. “Keep honest and always listen to your customers!
