OM meets…

How did you first get into yoga

I went to my first yoga class by mistake. I had just moved to a new area in Vancouver and there was a gym right across the road. I had never been drawn to gyms but I decided to sign up for a pass. I spent most of the time walking around the weight room, not knowing what to do. On one particular day, I decided to leave shortly after I had arrived. The receptionist laughed when he caught me and suggested that I try a yoga class. It was just about to start so I had no excuse. I had no idea what to expect but as soon as I started moving on the mat, I fell in love with yoga instantly. I had no idea that yoga ended with a final relaxation but I was over the moon when this happened! It was the perfect end to an amazing hour.
