2020 was undoubtedly a difficult year for most. A lot of unwelcome change bringing on high levels of anxiety, stress, and for some, depression. We were forced to shift into new ways of being, living and working, which naturally affected us all in different ways.
Moving into the new year, the future is still uncertain but letʼs use this opportunity to journey on with a positive outlook and embrace change. Perhaps your daily routine is different, perhaps itʼs brought on challenges. Ask yourself what could you change to make it better? Maybe your work life is significantly different now. What could you do to improve your happiness at work? Talking from experience I know it can be scary to quit a job and move on, to move house and go somewhere new, but like I always say in my teachings, you are stronger than you think you are! You must listen to your heart and trust that the universe will deliver whatʼs meant for you at this moment on your path. If the shift in change over the last year has brought on negative feelings and emotions in any part of your life, you must try to move away from that and make it better.
I myself recently left London where I had been based for 13 years to move into my own place living on my own for the first time in Essex by the seaside. I knew deep down that it was time for me to live by myself and my soul is always happiest by the sea. Iʼm grateful to myself for making it happen. I can see a change in myself, in my being, that I love, and want to enjoy and preserve within.
