When colour matching gurus at Pantone list ‘kale’ as the fashionable colour for 2017 and stars like Beyoncé wear clothes promoting this wonder vegetable, you suspect that kale’s celebrity status has reached its zenith. Kale’s world domination is almost complete but, much like Hollywood actor Will Smith now including his son, Jaden Smith, in his movies, it’s time for the next generation to step forward.
Introducing kalette, the natural hybrid between Brussel sprouts and kale, the new fashionable vegetable for 2017. Although small, the florets pack high doses of nutrients into their mini f ormat incl uding fibr e, ir on, vitamins A , B6 , C and K, as wel l as being rich in antioxidants.
