An eco-friendly hot yoga studio in Bristol that is run entirely on sustainable energy sources is celebrating one year in business.
Yogafurie (yogafurie.com), based in the city’s Ashl ey Down area, has seen more than 15,000 class places being booked and a number of green credentials having been reached during the past 12 months.
A key milestone in the evolution of the studio has been saving 4,500 el ectricity units, which is mor e than the aver age UK household uses in a single year.
Yogafurie also became a UK stockist in 2016 for groundbreaking yoga leggings made entirely from recycled plastic bottles.
Founded and owned by Ed Wood, a former IT consultant, the eco studio is now a centre of excellence for hot yoga teacher training.
