After a common cold, the second most popular reason to visit the doctor is for insomnia or bad sleeping patterns. While it may not be immediately obvious, there are numerous practices within yoga which can really assist with a good night’s sleep. We all know how difficult it is to survive without proper sleep and there is more and more research coming out all the time which suggests that premature ageing and illness can result where we become sleep deprived. However, by practicing breathing, special meditative techniques and a couple of specific yoga postures, a good night’s sleep can be within your reach.
