recently read an alarming statistic from the Oral Health Foundation that said 22% of

British adults regularly miss brushing their teeth in the morning and 25% skip brushing at night. These are shocking figures and it is surprising to see that people can so easily neglect the health of their teeth.

There have also been numerous stories in the press about poor oral health. One particular story was about a large scale study by Queen’s University Belfast that found that poor oral health was linked to a staggering 75% increase in liver cancer risk. All the more reason to make sure that oral health should be high up on the list of people’s priorities.
