Outdoor Photography  |  September 2010
The seaside, oh we do love to be beside the sea. One of the great things about living on a small island is that no matter where home is in the UK we are never more than an hour and a half's drive from the coast. For those who need to know details, the location furthest from the sea is, according to Ordnance Survey, a small farm just outside the village of Coton in the Elms, in Derbyshire, which is 70 miles away from its nearest coastline, at Fosdyke Wash, in Lincolnshire. So with such close proximity for all, it is easy to understand the allure of our coastline for just about everyone, from holidaymakers to some of the most respected professional landscape photographers.
