Plant & Machinery Model World  |  November December 2011

We are always keen to hear from readers of Model Tractor and
Miniature Construction Scene, whether in the form of a written
letter, a quickly dashed-off email, a photo or two, or a phone call.
But with many farm model enthusiasts actually working on farms
or involved in the wider agricultural industry, the summer months
tend to be a quiet time for the MT and MCS, as the harvest
means hobbies have to take a back seat for a while.
Now that summer is well and truly behind us, though, and
things are a little quieter, we’d be keen to hear more from our
readers. Tell us what you want to see more of in the magazine,
what your interests are, and what we’re doing right – and wrong.
As an incentive, there’ll be a prize next issue for the best letter,
as judged by the editor. And to kick off some ideas, here’s
a question for you: what has been the best farm model ever
produced by Britains, and why? Email me at martin.rickatson@
traplet.com and let me know your thoughts.
Incidentally, we hope to see you at one or both of the autumn’s
major farm model toy fairs. See elsewhere in this issue for more
on Toytrac (16th October) and Spalding (2nd October). We will
have a presence at both, where you can meet the editor and
contributors, sign up for a new subscription and suggest new
ideas – or even bring something along for us to feature in the
magazine.

However for iOS we recommend an iPad 2 (2nd gen)/iPhone 3 or better for performance and stability. Earlier models with lower processor and RAM specifications may experience slower page rendering and occasional app crashes which are outside of our control.
